The Opportunity

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a leading Funds Management business in a Part-Time CFO/FC role. The successful candidate will possess strong financial reporting and fund accounting experience from within a similar funds management or investment firm.  

This position will work in a stand-alone capacity though will be required to report to, liaise with, and manage a range of senior executives and stakeholders. 

The Challenge

Reporting into the Investment Team, your responsibilities will include:

• Cashflow management and forecasting 
• Payments of invoices / billing
• Maintenance of ledger
• Financial reporting to the Board
• Engagement and management of bank relationship
• Running the annual audit
• Assisting in the settling of transactions
• Running the annual valuation process with external valuers
• FIRB notification / reporting
• Management of Board calendar
• Assisting with Board & Investment Committee meetings
• Fund specific accounting and calculations 

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Preferably, you are a CA/CPA with 10+ years accounting experience.
• Ideally, you will have worked within the Funds/Asset Management, Property or Financial Services industries and have a broad accounting skill-set.
• Experience and confidence in managing senior stakeholders 
• Importantly, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be eager to work in a part time role for the foreseeable future.
