About Us: Our
Child Services Educators provide genuine care beyond just OSHC supervision, working with individuals to build their social skills and helping them bloom into wonderful young people.
About the Role: We are seeking permanent part-time employees, offering guaranteed hours every fortnight with the potential for additional hours during school terms and vacation care. You will be rostered at both our Kurri Kurri and Lochinvar Centres, gaining a variety of skills in a childcare setting.
Responsibilities: - Supervise children to and from the school bus
- Encourage growth and individuality
- Facilitate fun and developmental games
- Lead arts & craft activities
- Handle food preparation & service
- Perform general cleaning duties
Requirements: - A passion for working with and being around kids!
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (Child Care)
- Excellent communication skills with children and adults
- Empathy and genuine care for vulnerable people
- Experience in supporting or caring for children with extreme behaviours
- Current and verified Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check less than 12 months old
- Qualifications in Childcare and/or Development are highly desired
Shift Options: Part time: 15 hours minimum - 35 maximum
