  • About the role

    Activ Pathways is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) established by Activ in to deliver a variety of qualifications and general work skills training in industry specific areas.

    Due to an increased demand for training in Perth Metro and regional areas, we are looking to engage a Clinical Trainer & Assessor to deliver key training in; - Medication, diabetes, dysphagia, bowel care, peg feeding, dementia, epilepsy, midazolam and urinary catheter management.

    Working 4/5 Days per week this position will be appointed on a casual basis and require the flexibility to travel to our regional sites and customers throughout WA.

    A typical day in the role may look like……

  • Delivering accredited and non-accredited programs through face-to-face training both on and off the job;
  • Coordinating, delivering, monitoring and reporting on participant progress, supporting learners with a varying range of abilities;
  • Ability to engage students whilst delivering face to face training with attention to quality service.
  • The ideal candidate will have: -

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role within a large organisation
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification
  • Have the Flexibility to travel – essential
  • Current Nurse Registration with AHPRA, EN or RN
  • Extensive experience in the development and delivery of clinical training initiatives
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) requirements
  • Understanding of community and social issues related to disability service provision
