Construction Company Finance Manager - Part-Time

Based in Melbourne, our company has built an excellent reputation in the industry and due to growth, we require a part-time Finance Manager to join our close-knit team. We pride ourselves on maintaining a great team culture and value all of our employees.  

This part-time position (1-2 days per week) will suit someone who is a fully qualified finance manager but who may have other commitments during the week such as childcare obligations or even approaching retirement and wanting to scale down. 
 
The Role 

This hands-on role will require someone that can work from our Abbotsford office and who is a hardworking individual who can thrive in a small team with a positive attitude to work against deadlines. 
 
Responsibilities: 

• Cashflow forecasting  
• Monthly & Annual financial reporting 
• Project reporting (including trade quote and progress claim reconciliation)
• Management of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll
• Reporting on financial liabilities
• Recording of interest on liabilities 
• Preparation & lodgement of BAS, FBT, other reporting to ATO 

Qualifications: 

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Exposure of managing Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and payroll teams 
• Ability to embrace working in a close-knit team and a passion for the Construction industry 
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of self-motivation 
• Good command of the English Language
