Cook (Night Shift) Perth Airport

Delaware North at Perth Airport are seeking Cooks to join our culinary team and work alongside seasoned senior chefs.

You will be working the night shift, from 9pm to midnight, in our venue Otherside Brew Lounge at Perth Airport. 

This position allows you to express your deep passion for food, unleash your creativity, and contribute to a collaborative team effort in creating dishes that make a lasting impression.

Requirements

• Solid background in kitchen operations
• Follow recipes for menu preparation, ensuring adherence to cooking guidelines and standards
• Execute food preparation tasks, showcasing expertise in food presentation
• Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
• Ensure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards. This involves conducting temperature and quality checks and effectively managing cross-contamination
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and honed time management skills
• Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable own transport as some shifts are not supported by public transport to and/or from the airport

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook is advantageous
• Minimum Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery is advantageous
• Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain at onboarding
