About Melbourne Dental Clinic
The Melbourne Dental Clinic (MDC) supervises the graduate and postgraduate students from the Melbourne Dental School to deliver dental services under the supervision of leading dental practitioners in Melbourne. We also have a private dental practice with fully qualified dental practitioners. The fees associated with these two levels of service are adjusted according to whether or not they are set in the teaching and learning environment.
What makes our service unique is the availability of a wide range of dental specialties in the one location, including endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics and paediatric dentistry, as well as general dentistry.
Our Melbourne Dental Clinic is seeking a dedicated CSSD Attendant (Instrument Technician) for a part-time position (0.6 FTE) who can commit to being on-site Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. This role involves providing instrument recirculation of dental instruments, primarily through sterilisation procedures and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment, in accordance with clinical standards and policies, ensuring the provision of high-quality and efficient dental services.
We offer flexible start and finish times, as well as the possibility of compressed hours, making this role ideal for working parents, students, or older individuals seeking flexibility. Additionally, the procedural nature of the duties and the supportive operational environment make this position especially suitable for individuals who are neurodiverse or living with difference. Join our team and contribute to the excellence of our dental services!
