Customer Care Representative - Greencross Fairy Meadow

We have a rare opportunity for a Customer Care Representative to join our welcoming front of house team in the Illawarra’s leading GP clinic!

Greencross Vets Fairy Meadow a is a busy, fast growing, state-of-the-art GP practice and emergency hospital that sees a variety of pets and medical cases. We are looking for a Customer Care representative to join our team - This is a welcoming and amazing team that works cohesively together and shares a passion for providing premium pet care and customer service.

About your new role:

We are experiencing growth and are looking for a dedicated customer service representative to be the face of our clinic and create incredible connections with our clients and our pet patients!

• Part-time position - minimum 15 hours per week
• Welcoming clients and their pets to the hospital and providing incredible customer service
• Handling high volumes of inbound calls and email enquiries
• Booking and managing appointments
• Invoicing and processing payments – including cash, EFTPOS, Vetpay and Zippay
• Data entry and updating patient records
• Other general admin and customer service duties as required

About You:

• Certificate II Animal Studies or Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing desirable 
• Have experience in reception, customer service or high-volume call centre environment - bonus points if you have experience in a pet or medical health field although this is not necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills and a passion for providing high quality customer service (min 2 years is essential).
• Friendly, warm and professional manner with the ability to converse with a range of different people with compassion and empathy.
• Experience with appointment entries, invoicing, and taking payments.
• Well-developed computer skills and accurate data entry.
• Amazing time management skills and attention to detail.
• Be team focused and enjoy working in a close-knit team.
• You thrive in fast paced environments and can remain calm under pressure or during busy times and emergency situations
• You can think outside the box! Have great multi-tasking and problem-solving skills to achieve best possible results.
• Experience with RxWorks is highly desirable but not essential as we will train the right candidate
• A willingness to work rotating weekends as a part of the roster, flexibility to pick up additional shifts
