A leading shopping centre in the Redlands, is seeking a friendly and professional Welcome Desk Team Member to join their Customer Service hub. Located in the heart of the shopping centre, the Welcome Desk is the go-to place for customers, tenants, and contractors. About the role:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by managing the Welcome Desk answering calls, attending to customer and retailer enquiries.
• 2 Days per week: Monday 9AM – 5:30PM and Thursday 12PM – 6PM.
• $24.73 per hour + super (weekend or late night loadings paid if worked).
• Maintain ‘Kid Central’ ensuring it is kept clean and safe.
• Handle the day-to-day operation of free customer gift wrapping services.
• Maintain various registers and logbooks such as the Lost and Found Register, and the accessibility equipment hire.
• Promote and process the sale of centre gift cards.
• Make public address announcements and use two-way radios for internal communication.
• Assist the Marketing Manager with marketing events and campaigns.
• Support the Centre Management team with various ad hoc tasks.

About you:

• You are warm, bubbly and easy to talk to! Being friendly and outgoing with a professional presentation and phone manner.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service and dealing with members of the community.
• Local knowledge of Capalaba and surrounds highly advantageous.
• Ability to work additional hours as required is desirable.
• Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Must be available mid November – December
