Customer Service Officer – Part Time
A leading shopping centre in the Redlands, is seeking a friendly and professional Welcome Desk Team Member to join their Customer Service hub. Located in the heart of the shopping centre, the Welcome Desk is the go-to place for customers, tenants, and contractors. About the role:
Deliver exceptional customer service by managing the Welcome Desk answering calls, attending to customer and retailer enquiries.
2 Days per week: Monday 9AM – 5:30PM and Thursday 12PM – 6PM.
$24.73 per hour + super (weekend or late night loadings paid if worked).
Maintain ‘Kid Central’ ensuring it is kept clean and safe.
Handle the day-to-day operation of free customer gift wrapping services.
Maintain various registers and logbooks such as the Lost and Found Register, and the accessibility equipment hire.
Promote and process the sale of centre gift cards.
Make public address announcements and use two-way radios for internal communication.
Assist the Marketing Manager with marketing events and campaigns.
Support the Centre Management team with various ad hoc tasks.
About you:
You are warm, bubbly and easy to talk to! Being friendly and outgoing with a professional presentation and phone manner.
Passionate about providing excellent customer service and dealing with members of the community.
Local knowledge of Capalaba and surrounds highly advantageous.
Ability to work additional hours as required is desirable.
Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
Must be available mid November – December
