About the opportunity:
The Data Insights & Reporting Lead plays a critical role in driving a culture of evidence-informed decision-making across the organisation. Sitting within the Homelessness Solutions & Impact portfolio, the role uses data to generate strategic insights and report on our impact, taking a whole-of-organisation approach.
Reporting to the Head of Impact, the role is responsible for managing Launch Housing’s client management systems (SRS) and client data warehouse (the Asset). The role works closely with IT to ensure the provision of timely, accurate and actionable dashboards through Power BI. It is responsible for the quality and integrity of our data assets, supports data capability lift across program teams, and influences how we use data to support service planning, innovation and advocacy. The role also works with program teams to ensure high-quality internal and external reporting to funders, partners and stakeholders.
The role is expected to demonstrate leadership that aligns with Launch Housing’s organisational vision and values, helping translate these into day-to-day practice across their area of influence. This includes designing and supporting initiatives that respond to client and organisational needs, while ensuring the wellbeing and safety of staff. The role requires a proactive and innovative approach to service and program development, encouraging collaboration across teams to improve outcomes and break down silos.
The role is also expected to create opportunities to engage meaningfully with colleagues, provides guidance and coaching, and uses challenges as opportunities for learning and improvement. They support the professional development of their direct report and contribute to succession planning within the organisation. As a leader, they role model Launch Values and actively seek feedback to strengthen their own leadership.
Permanent, part-time role (0.8 FTE, 60.8 hours per fortnight) based in Collingwood.
