Your new role Develop data driven solutions and reports through advance machine learning and statistical models developed through software or programming for investigating assumptions2. Undertake, participate and arrange, both routine and ad hoc building audits to collect and maintain Planning, Space and Condition records as required3. Handle, clean and interpret data sets, assessing data relevance and integrity to ensure compliance to relevant benchmarking standards, such as GO8 and TEFMA reporting4. Evaluate and analyse data modelling and statistical analysis concepts and techniques (e.g., predictive modelling, statistical inference) to assess their relevance to the larger business unit and the University as a whole5. Prepare and present findings and recommendations of statistical and/or technical analysis to varying audiences through reports, presentations and other documentation6. Undertake some project management activities for data-driven projects from identifying a problem or data driven requirement through to delivering a business-as-usual solution7. Develop and improve data processes and best practices
What you'll need to succeed A degree qualification in a relevant field with relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Knowledge and Skills2. Experience in developing data analytic tools to support data creation, automation and translation processes including the development and application of data analytics in data cleaning, transformation, normalisation, modelling and visualisation, use of data interrogation tools, along with experience in the application of analytical business tools3. Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, utilisation of web technologies, Visual Studio 2022+ and experience in the use of SQL databases. Some experience in programming languages for data analysis (e.g. Python, R, Bash, SQL, SAS)4. Strong experience in creating dynamic online reports including expertise in Microsoft PowerBI5. Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage time and plan work to meet deadlines6. Strong numerical, analytical and statistical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends/issues and make practical recommendations that will improve system integration, functionality and capability7. Ability to rapidly learn and evaluate technical information to synthesise meaningful conclusions and recommendations8. Highly-developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional documentation and presentations for and interact with a diversity of stakeholders
