Dermatology Nurse - Energetic Workplace - Part-Time

We are seeking a registered nurse to join us at our exciting new dermatology practice in Broadmeadow, Newcastle. We are a team of highly experienced dermatologists and nurses who are passionate about providing exceptional care to our patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is a friendly and self-motivated team player, who is willing to learn and grow with our dynamic team. Position responsibilities include:

• Assisting dermatologists in surgical and non-surgical procedures.
• Pre and post procedure care.
• Provide dermatological services under supervision including phototherapy, photodynamic therapy and laser (training provided)
• Nonclinical duties such as sterilising equipment and stocktake.
• Assist in providing advanced medical dermatological treatments such as biologics.

Essential criteria:

• Current AHPRA registration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills, the ability to prioritise in a busy work environment.
• Initiative and a willingness to learn.

Desirable criteria

• Surgical experience – dermatology, plastics, theatres, general practice, hospital
• Aesthetic experience – including the use of IPL/laser.
• Experience working in the private practice setting.
