So, what is the role?

The Digital Communications and Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for creating and designing engaging content for and managing the organisation's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, as well as managing and digitally communicating the organisation’s brand, mission and impact to help mobilise donation revenue.

Responsibilities include:

  • Digitally communicate using various social media channels, mission and impact, using some remarkable real-life stories 
  • Create and edit engaging video content for channels such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Assist in the creation of email marketing campaigns through Ortto linking eDM's to the website and the Salesforce Database
  • Ensure the website is updated with timely and relevant and engaging content
  • Brand marketing - have your say about the strategy, development, and paid social media campaign content, then track it and analyse it
  • SEO/SEM

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification, such as Digital Marketing / Communications
  • Previous experience in digital marketing / social media / communications roles over the past few years with the ability to provide examples of your published work on a variety of digital communication channels, such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Strong copywriting skills, including a creative mindset and ability to think outside the box to develop innovative ideas
  • Familiarity with the social media landscape and latest communications trends across various channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Proficient with image editing/graphic design and video editing using platforms like Canva / Premier Pro / Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Passionate about the organisation’s values and committed to working out of hours (on occasion) to meet international deadlines
  • The desire to build your career with our client and therefore looking for long term commitment. Hopefully we can see stability on your CV.
