Early Childhood Education P.T. Cert 3 Or Diploma - Competitive Pay - Part-Time

Permanent part time position for Diploma or Cert 3 qualified educator. 

Two/three days per week, (approx. 14/24 hours)

We are:-

• Licenced for 28 children, three to five years
• Open from 08.15 to 16.15 - Monday to Friday
• Closed for 4 weeks Christmas/January
• Paid lunch break

You will be joining a small, privately owned Centre, with an exceeding rating. We are situated in a quiet, well loved residential area. Our excellent reputation is very much due to our committed and caring team. 

Relationships are at the core of everything we do. Knowing the children and families well allows us to work together to benefit each individual child and to support their family. 

We run a broad, comprehensive program based on Australian Learning Tracks. The children's play and interests guide the program. We enjoy local walks, including our local shops & bush. We enjoy campfires, cooking, risky play, digging in the dirt and anything that involves getting messy! We have both structured small group times and long periods of uninterrupted play.

As a small team we believe good professional relationships and respect for each other are vital. We value good communications, enthusiasm and positive support of each other as well as the ability for everyone to share the programming, observations and planning to ensure our children are well placed to start their next adventure. 

We follow Child Safe Standards in appointment and ongoing practices.

Essential Requirements

• Must have a Diploma; Cert 3; or ‘actively working towards’ one of them
• Ability to plan well thought out experiences.
• Willingness to critically reflect on our program, experiences and contribute ideas.
• Self motivated, positive & supportive, good communication skills
• Comfortable working closely and co-operatively with others in a one room situation.
• Experience working with 3-6 year olds desirable, not essential
• At least some experience in planning, programming and documentation
• Knowledge of EYLF and NQS
• Child Protection Certificate
• Current WWCC
• Current First Aid Certificate inc. Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
