Job Description - Education And Wellbeing Support Worker - Urgent Role - Part-Time

We are in need of a meticulous Education and Wellbeing Support Worker to join our fast-paced team at Mountain District Community College in Boronia, Melbourne VIC.

Mountain District Community College is a small independent senior secondary school situated in Boronia, VIC. It's major focus is to educate students who have been disengaged from the mainstream educational system for a variety of reasons. The college aims to assist them to reengage in their education in a supportive, hands-on learning environment structured around small classes. The position requires a passionate education and wellbeing support worker who has experience working in student engagement both inside and outside the classroom. We seek to employ a staff member who engages students with a range of learning tools whilst bringing a strong relational aspect to their role.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Cert III in School Based Education Support, Youth Worker or relevant Certificate.
  • Previous experience in an alternative education setting preferred.
  • 2 referees.
  • Police Check and Working with Children's Check required.
