Education Leader - Urgent - Part-Time

The Lutheran Education SA, NT & WA (LESNW) regional office is situated in North Adelaide and provides support, encouragement and leadership for learning communities as they fulfil their educational responsibilities within the context of Christian ministry.  LESNW comprises 40 learning communities, including schools, pre-schools and child-care centres situated throughout South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia. Each learning community of LESNW is independently incorporated with their own Boards and autonomous decision-making capacity.

Education Leader

beginning January 2025.

The Education Leader (EL), as a member of the Education Team within the LESNW regional office works collaboratively to enable the vision, mission, and goals of LESNW. 

The role of the EL is to equip and empower leaders and staff across the LESNW region in formation as per the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCANZ) and Lutheran Education Australia (LEA) accreditation requirements. 

The EL role involves building leadership capabilities and cultivating networks of support, trust, and openness to enable collaboration for innovation and improvement within, across, and beyond LESNW learning communities. 

Reporting directly to the Educational Leadership Director, the EL has extensive day to day autonomy, whilst also engaging with other members of the LESNW regional office to assist them in the successful outworking of their role. 

This is a permanent position, with an FTE of 0.8, (which will be reviewed after 18 months for considered adjustment to an FTE of 1.0) with a negotiated salary.
