Our frontline team provides direct support in both SIL, in home and community access settings to our participants ensuring high degree of quality and individualised support is provided to them.
The role
SEQUAL currently have vacancies for permanent part-time passionate Enrolled Nurses (ENs) who have high attention to detail and are committed to delivering a high standard and individualised person-centred care. The ideal candidate will display efficiency and confidence in their clinical care, coupled with a genuine sense of empathy and understanding of NDIS.
This role may involve the following duties, but not limited to:
- Working with high complex clients with varying disabilities
- Clinical supports such as PEG feeding, catheter care, stoma care, medication administration
- Seizure management and complex wound care
- Daily living support including personal care, incorporating safe manual handling practises
- Accurate documentation, including assessments and person-centred care plans
About you
- Enrolled Nurse qualification
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Holds a current division 2 registration (Enrolled Nurse) with APHRA and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Previous experience or qualification in community setting. Disability highly advantageous.
- Holds a current First Aid certificate with annual CPR recertification.
- Holds or able to obtain a paid NDIS worker screening card and a working with children card.
- Advanced written, oral communication and interpersonal skills, including communicating effectively with stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds and groups.
- Advanced computer skills and use of software programs
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative, work autonomously within your area of responsibility.
- Passion to provide personalised and inclusive support and empower individuals with complex disabilities
