Farm Hand - Kenthurst

Pepe’s Ducks are looking for a Part time farm hand to work within our breeder division in Kenthurst, NSW to be part of the farming team with a focus on duck welfare, egg pick up and egg processing.  We are a friendly team looking for a reliable person who enjoys working outdoors and with animals.

This is a part-time role working by roster, typically 6.30am to 2.30pm 2 to 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) as well as weekends Saturday and Sunday 6.30am to 10.30am.

Reporting to the Farm Manager, your daily duties will include  

• Maintaining our high standard of duck welfare
• Egg pick-up 
• Egg cleaning and grading
• Feeding ducks
• Cleaning sheds and site

Skills & Experience (advantageous but not essential):

• Basic farming experience preferred, but not essential
• Ability to confidently work alone as well as part of a team
• Have good attention to detail
• Physically fit and energetic
• Own transport is required due to the location of the farm
