Finance Assistant - Immediate Start - Part-Time

The opportunity

This is a part-time opportunity working 3 days each week (Wednesday - Friday) during the core business hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm.

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to work collaboratively with our outsourced finance provider as part of a small onsite team. The key objectives of this role are to:

1. Be the point of contact for accounts and finance queries at Transcord
2. Work collaboratively with the external finance provider, preparing necessary information for the processing of finance functions
3. Operate as an internal support for the daily financial administrative functions within Transcord.

The salary for this role will be between $60,000 - $70,000 plus superannuation (pro-rata for part-time employment) based on candidate experience. Transcord also offer NFP salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually to increase take home pay.

Your experience

Cultural fit is very important to us, so we are firstly looking for an enthusiastic team player who draws value from supporting an NFP helping the local community. Additionally, ideal candidates will have:

• Experience working in accounts in a support role with qualifications (at least a Cert IV in financial services or accounting discipline)
• Experience working with MYOB
• Competency using Excel at an intermediate to advanced level
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy with ability to investigate issues and find solutions
• Technically competent in Microsoft Word and Outlook, and willingness to learn new software packages
• Good English speaking communication, and
• Be a positive and collaborative team member who shares in the team’s success.
