About the Role 

If you are seeking an opportunity to lead and strengthen the finance function within a collaborative and high-performing environment, this role offers both scope and impact.

As Finance Manager, you will take full ownership of the finance function, playing a critical role in safeguarding financial integrity, driving commercial insight, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. Working closely with the Codafication leadership team and Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the end-to-end finance lifecycle, including transactional processing, financial reporting, compliance, controls, forecasting, and strategic financial insight.

Your day-to-day duties will include: 

• Managing all daily finance activities across AP & AR, including customer invoicing, receipts allocation, debtor follow‑up, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month‑end and year‑end close processes.


• Managing end‑to‑end payroll via Xero Payroll, including employee record maintenance.


• Collaborating with the Group Financial Controller to prepare and lodge STP, superannuation, payroll tax, BAS, PAYG, FBT, and statutory obligations.


• Preparing monthly financial reports: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, variance analysis and KPIs.


• Leading the annual budget process


• Maintaining robust financial controls ensuring compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.


• Contributing to finance automation and digitisation initiatives.

About You

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accountability, enjoys building efficient processes, and wants to play a key role in shaping the financial direction of a growing business.

As our successful candidate, you will demonstrate:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar or senior finance role with responsibility across AP, AR, payroll oversight (if applicable), invoice processing, month-end close, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.


• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting or Finance (CA/CPA highly regarded but not essential).


• Advanced Excel capability, including pivot tables and financial modelling.


• Experience working across multiple financial systems and the ability to quickly adapt to new platforms.


• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to advise and support non-financial leaders.


• High attention to detail, strong organisational discipline, and a robust approach to financial controls.


• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and operate autonomously.


• Sound knowledge of accounting standards, compliance obligations, and internal control frameworks.

Highly Regarded

• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.


• Exposure to automation initiatives and cloud-based finance systems.


• Background in high-growth, technology, or project-based environments where agility and commercial acumen are critical.
