ESP Environmental Safety Professionals (ESP) is looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join our growing team at Newcastle NSW (Head Office). This is a permanent part-time opportunity working 5 days per week, 20 hours (negotiable).

As the Finance Officer, you will provide practical financial support to the day-to-day operation of the business including financial reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting and financial reporting for best practices.

Necessary requirements;

• Qualifications in book-keeping, finance and business administration.
• Proficiency with account reconciliations and good knowledge of general ledger accounting.
• Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable including invoicing, data entry and client follow up.
• Essential prior experience with all aspects of Xero software. Workflow Max useful but not essential.
• Demonstrated ability in using Microsoft office systems.
• Business advisory experience, including extracting and analysing financial data, identifying and implementing recommendations.
• Proven ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail; and to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with numbers.
• Experience working collaboratively and supporting others.
