You are a people-obsessed person who loves to be part of a high-energy, fun, and fast-paced team. The position is responsible for providing efficient food and beverage service that exceeds our guests expectations. Your exceptional attention to detail and ability to ensure the satisfaction of our guests.

What you will be doing:

• Greet and welcome guests, assist with enquiries and restaurant bookings.
• Assist guests with menu offerings and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling.
• Effectively take orders and ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests.
• Input orders promptly ensuring the kitchen can fulfill their duties effectively.
• Ensure that dockets are written clearly and correctly for inputting into the POS (point of sale) system.
• Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance; ensure items are announced.
• Be knowledgeable of and operate within the Food Safety Program (e.g. Awareness of allergies and dietary requirements)
• Maintain hygienic food service techniques at all times.
• Maintain clean and neat presentation of bar and restaurant area(s), following set opening, closing and daily procedures.

Your experience and skills include:

• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
• Service oriented with an eye for detail and a positive attitude 
• Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship and networking skills
• An awareness of food safety practices preferred.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
