Food and Beverage Attendant Part-Time

Batman's Hill on Collins is a 4-star Accor hotel in Melbourne, offering an ideal city stay for corporate, leisure and group travel guests. We are conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, right opposite Southern Cross Station. Along with accommodation we offer our guests and visitors a fully equipped conference centre with multiple function spaces, two restaurants and a lounge bar.

We are looking for Food and Beverage attendants to join our team on a part-time basis.

Job Description

• Providing food and beverage service to guests in our restaurants, bar and conference spaces 
• Explaining the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences 
• Maximising sales opportunities with recommendations and suggestions
• Communicating with other departments to ensure the highest level of guest service is maintained
• Maintaining clean and safe work spaces and guest areas and ensuring food safety requirements are followed

What we are looking for

• Great communication skills & presentation and confidence to engage with guests
• A genuine interest in food and beverage as well as in our local Melbourne area
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Experience in food and beverage is preferable, but a passion for providing great service is what will really make you stand out!

Qualifications

• The availability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings (from 6am), late evenings and on weekends and public holidays
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handler

• Knowledge of H+L point of sale system would be an advantage, however not mandatory as training will be provided
• As this is a part time position, you must have current working rights in Australia . We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role. Students and Working Holiday Visa holders are encouraged to apply
