About the role

We are on the lookout for exceptional individuals who possess that unique spark and want to be part of something extraordinary! 25 - 30 hours approximately a week.

Guest Service Agent: You will be stationed at the front desk, warmly welcoming and bidding farewell to our guests during check-in and check-out.

Food & Beverage Attendant: Join our café team and contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Conference & Events: Help orchestrate and manage corporate and social events.

Technical responsibilities;

• Handling reservations for all areas of the hotel.
• Conducting audits and reconciliations.
• Assisting guests with check-ins, check-outs, and any requests in between.
• Greeting and answering inquiries from guests and telephone calls.
• Offering and promoting our products and services to guests and potential guests.
• Ensuring efficient reservation management.
• Attending to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Taking breakfast orders.
• Making Barista Coffee.
• Adhering to hygienic food and beverage handling procedures.
• Managing and running corporate & social events.

Skills & experience

• Display a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and consistently finding ways to add value.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Be comfortable with a flexible roster, including morning, afternoon/evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts.
• Previous experience in a hotel environment, preferably in a 4/5-star establishment with knowledge of Opera or Fidelio.
• Preferred experience as a Barista, showcasing your coffee-making skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Infrasys or other Point of Sale Systems (training will be provided if necessary).
• Maintain immaculate personal presentation and a warm, friendly, engaging, and positive demeanor.
• Possess superb organizational skills, attention to detail, and exemplary communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Exhibit excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Work effectively both autonomously and as part of a cohesive team.
• Display efficiency, reliability, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Desirable experience with property management systems and point of sale systems.
• Present yourself impeccably with a smile that brightens any room!
• Holding a current RSA and First Aid Certificate is preferred.
