Hr Manager - Part-Time - Room For Advancement

Whelan Property Group is a well-established and respected Strata Management company with 3 offices located across Sydney. We are currently seeking a Part-time HR Manager to join our management team.

The role will be working from our Head Office located in Ultimo, just a short walk from the light rail, Town Hall station and Darling Harbour.

The role reports into the General Manager and will provide support to the senior management team. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with the recruitment process
• Utilise the results of our Employee Engagement Survey to create an action plan and training as needed
• Develop and implement a client feedback mechanism 
• Facilitate staff grievances, conflict resolution and disciplinary action
• Contribute to the development of an employee-oriented company culture that promotes quality, continuous improvement, employee retention and high performance

To be considered for this role you must have:

• Tertiary qualification in HR or relevant discipline
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment law
• 5+ years HR experience
• Experience interviewing candidates
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships and influence positive change to support growth
• Industry experience is not essential, however highly desirable
