About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated HR Training & Culture Coordinator to join our team. This is a part-time role, (3 days per week) offering a unique hybrid work environment from our office in Epping, Victoria and remote work.

The Role:

As the HR Training & Culture Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture and values of Envirobank. Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining and fostering the culture and values of Envirobank
• Managing Performance Improvement plans & processes, including necessary counselling & performance management
• Undertaking recruitment for all depot teams
• Conducting Staff Engagement Survey Pulse Checks
• Issuing employment contracts and onboarding new employees
• Implementing and monitoring policies & procedures and staff training
• Enforcing Fair Work standards
• Providing broad experience & knowledge of employment laws and practices, offering advice and counsel on personnel matters
• Designing and implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement
• Recommending practices to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation

About you:

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualities:

• Attention to detail
• People person with excellent communication skills
• Experience with various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs, and e-learning
• Specialised training in employment law, organisational planning & development, and employee relations 
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a progressive leadership position in training
• Strong background in managing the welfare needs of an organisation
• High level of discretion and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive HR matters
• Proactive and strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to organisational growth

Licenses/Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Human and/or related field (desirable but not required)
• Specialised training in employment law, organisational planning & development, employee relations
