Position: Human Resources Advisor
Location: Jandakot, WA
Our client, a leading provider of mining mechanical and maintenance services in Western Australia, seeks an enthusiastic Human Resources Advisor. on a part-time 20 hours per week in the office basis.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and working closely with the Chief Operating Officer.
This role will be based in their Jandakot office and engaged on a permanent fulltime basis.
Role Overview:
As a Human Resources Advisor, you'll provide crucial HR support to the organisation, with a focus on Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) advisory.
Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and support managers, supervisors, and site staff on HR, ER, and IR matters.
• Develop and review ER/IR systems and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and legal ER requirements.
• Assist with performance management and conflict resolution.
• Foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and manage future HR staff.
• Handle staff rostering, selection, and interviews.
• Oversee staff file management.
• Oversee payroll and HR administration
• Manage Workers' Compensation claims.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
• Previous experience in Industrial, Mining, or Construction sectors.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have:

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field.
• 3-5 years of HR advisory experience with a focus on ER and IR.
