Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Officer assists with a broad range of HR functions as well as some health & safety admin for a medium-sized manufacturing business.

20-25 hours/week over four days.

Experience in recruitment is required and knowledge of HR practices and regulatory frameworks is highly regarded, as is an interest in health and safety.

Duties of this role include;

Assisting to process HR service requests promptly and with high attention to detail including end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employment contracts, employment variations, and other HR generalist duties
Coordinating staff events and promotion of HR/WHS initiatives
Assisting with policy and WHS compliance
Maintaining a high level of customer service for the business by ensuring timely and professional responses to HR queries
