Job Description - Legal Assistant - Part-Time

Description:

Crescent Lawyers is a small boutique law firm located in Walkerville. We are committed to providing honest, intelligent & cost-effective advice and representation to our clients. We are looking for a Legal Assistant / Personal Assistant to work in a supportive team under the guidance of the Principal Lawyer.  This is a part-time role of three days per week although some flexibility would be available for the right candidate.  The role will involve general administrative and reception duties, client support, file management, diary management and providing support to the Principal Lawyer.  The successful candidate should be willing to further develop their skills within our specialist areas. 

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both internally and with a diverse range of clients including non-English backgrounds
  • Professional demeanour and presentation
  • Attention to detail as well as excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and show initiative
  • Ability to display a positive and friendly attitude as well as a warm and friendly phone manner
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word are essential including typing and formatting of documents as well as proficiency using Microsoft Outlook
  • Previous experience in administration and/or reception roles while experience in a law practice will be highly regarded
