Medical Reception/Administration - Get Hired Fast - Part-Time

We are a small, fun and friendly team who is looking for another member or two to join us at Central Victoria Gastroenterology. Position/s will be casual or part time and based in Bendigo.

About the position:
This position includes a wide range of reception and administrative tasks including but not limited to front desk reception, answering phones, responding to enquiries, booking appointments and procedures in, running clinics, billing, data entry and general administration tasks. 

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday. Primary hours are between 8:45-5:15pm however some earlier starts or later finishes may be required.  

Shifts may be available in shorter 4 hour shifts as well as longer shifts and both fixed days and a rotating 4 week roster will be considered. 

Days and hours along with pay rate are negotiable however ideally you will have some flexibility to extend daily hours or work additional days to help cover staff leave where possible. 

Some flexible working arrangements may also be considered. 

About you: 
The person we are seeking will be reliable, conscientious, friendly, compassionate and a team player. We are looking for someone who is able to adapt in their role or has the willingness to learn as we continue to grow or as required. 

Further to the above you will need to demonstrate:

• The ability to build rapport, show empathy and provide exceptional customer service
• Confident in greeting patients with a positive and pleasant personality
• Proficient in using a computer
• The ability to use Microsoft Office and navigate an online booking system advantageous - but we can teach you. 
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong time management and organisation skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise, especially during busy periods. 
• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

Previous experience in customer service, reception or administration is preferred but not essential as all training will be provided.
