Medical Secretary - Part-Time.

PART TIME                      3 DAYS ( 8-6pm) WED THUR & FRI

        TO START LATE JULY/ EARLY AUGUST.

       THIS WILL INCREASE TO 4 DAYS EARLY 2025.

MEDICAL SECRETARY / RECEPTION

We have a great role on offer for an experienced medical secretary for a group practice of Ophthalmologists.

Skills and experience:

• Previous private medical rooms experience
• Excellent time management skills.
• Team player
• Good IT skills ( preferably with Zedmed)
• Strong patient focus
• Willingness to learn.

Duties include:

• Opening and closing of clinic ( can share this )
• Greeting patients
• General reception and administration
• Invoicing and receipting
• Processing Medicare and DVA claims
• Appointment scheduling.
• Hospital & theatre bookings
• Banking
• Liaising with other staff, Orthoptists and Ophthalmologists
• Diary management

You will be working within a small team of very,  happy, hard working group of professional people - dedicated to running a fast paced surgical practice.  Attention to detail and ability to prioritise.

SALARY NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING UPON PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE.
