Microsoft Purview Specialist - Part-Time

Our client is a leading player in the financial services industry, committed to delivering excellence and innovation in everything they do. They are currently seeking a talented MS Purview Specialist to lead a Purview implementation in part-time capability for a few months. 

About the Role

As a Microsoft Purview Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding business and IT requirements related to data leakage protection and data classification. You will play a crucial role in implementing and managing Microsoft Purview solutions across our infrastructure, ensuring data security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and translate Business and IT requirements into effective data protection and classification solutions;
• Document and implement Microsoft Purview across, Windows servers, Laptops via Intune, M365 Cloud products, Public and private IaaS servers, including Azure VM and Oracle VM;
• Develop and implement procedures to resolve false positive findings in data leakage detection;
• Build comprehensive reports and dashboards for both executive and technical teams, providing insights and analytics on data protection;
• Enforce tagging for all data within M365 to ensure proper classification and compliance.

Skills and Experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Purview implementation and management;
• Experience with data leakage protection and data classification;
• Familiarity with Windows servers, Intune laptops, Azure VM, Oracle VM, and M365 Cloud products;
• Strong documentation skills and experience in creating implementation guides and procedures;
• Ability to build and interpret reports and dashboards for diverse audiences;
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Azure is a plus.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, especially Change Management, is highly desirable;
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
