Job Description - Office Administrator - Collaborative Environment - Part-Time

We are in need of a driven Office Administrator to join our awesome team at Private Advertiser in Thornton, Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSW.

We are looking for someone with a positive and happy persona to join our team and fill a job share role available as an Office Administrator.

There is a possibility this position may become a fulltime 38hr week position.

This role requires someone who is good at multi-tasking, as it is a combination of administration, accounts, payroll and Human Resources. They must be able to manage time efficiently and be well versed in MYOB, Bank reconciliations, superannuation and taxes.

This role also includes maintaining our QA system as we hold an ISO9001 qualification, preferred by not necessary experience with Quality systems is required.

We are a small family owned and operated company, we work in the steel fabrication industry.

You will be required to work a job share role a minimum 15hr week, or 5 day fortnight. $32hr wage.

To be successful in the role you will be required to have;

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in using MYOB processing payroll, accounts receivable/payable.
  • Experience in processing BAS, IAS, weekly payroll and superannuation payments.
  • Experience in the reconciliation of bank accounts, maintenance of filing system and archiving of records when required.
  • General admin roles of answering phone calls, taking messages etc.
  • Maintaining business vehicle registrations, insurances etc.
  • Required to complete tasks as directed from the Managers.
  • Maintain our Quality management system ISO 9001.
  • Experience in Quality management system ISO 9001 and preparing for audit certification
  • Must be reliable, honest and hard working.
  • Able to work within a small team environment.
  • Hold a class C drivers licence.
