This is a part time - max term (12 months) opportunity working 2 days per week (flexibility regarding working days).
About the role
The Officiating Development Coordinator will support the growth and sustainability of the officiating workforce across Western Australia.
This role plays a key part in delivering the national Competition Workforce Strategy, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, development and retention of officials. Working closely with the Competition Workforce Development Lead and the WA Competitive Play team, you’ll help build a capable, connected and supported officiating community.
In this role you will:
Support the planning and delivery of targeted officiating recruitment initiatives across WA.
Facilitate the onboarding of new officials, ensuring they feel supported, informed and connected from day one.
Provide ongoing support to officials to help them perform confidently in their roles and navigate development pathways.
Coordinate logistics for education and development programs, including educators, venues and resources.
In partnership with the WA Competitive Play team, plan and support community engagement activities such as forums, workshops and recognition initiatives.
Build strong relationships with Officials, Educators, Referees and Tournament Directors, and support regular two-way feedback with the Tennis Australia Officiating team.

You bring experience working with people and systems in sporting, community or workforce environments, and enjoy supporting large, distributed groups to perform well and stay engaged.
