Our space feels like home and we are looking for a new team member to take on the exciting role of Operations & Community Manager!

Our founder, Michelle Andrews, had a vision for allied health treatment (Osteo, Physio, Exercise Phys.) that was intentionally partnered with strength and conditioning. A unique approach to injury and movement restoration that didn’t exist anywhere else.

About the role:

As our Operations and Community Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently across all facets of the facility. You’ll foster a positive, high energy atmosphere to lead our team to feel empowered and motivated to achieve their best, providing innovation and using initiative to propel the team, business and our community forward. You’ll be spending time welcoming our members and providing high quality customer service to everyone you interact with so loving people is a must! We are a growing business with the need for someone to embrace an agile and fast-paced working style. As with all our roles, it will be what you make it! Professional development and a desire to grow is an important trait for all team members at Motus.

Having an interest in the Allied Health and Strength and Conditioning industry is a bonus, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Inspire: Manage and motivate our team, fostering a culture of high achievement, continuous growth and fun.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operations of our facility, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Customer Engagement: Be the face of Motus Life, ensuring our members feel welcomed, supported and a part of our thriving community.
• Event Planning: Organise and manage community events, creating memorable experiences that embody our values and vision, and drive more like-minded people to our facility.
• Conflict Resolution: Handle any conflicts with grace and professionalism, maintaining a positive and solution focused attitude and atmosphere.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform a variety of administrative duties to support our team and operations, including both front of house and back of house duties.
• Innovate and Improve: Continuously look for ways to enhance our services and operations, driving us towards growth and our vision for the future.

This is a part-time position, starting at 20-25 hours per week, with the potential to build to more hours in the future.
