The successful applicant will have: - Compassion and empathy,
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills,
- Demonstrated ability in providing reception services and administrative support,
- Experience in all aspects of office administration covering a broad range of duties and functions including an intermediate level of knowledge across Microsoft Office software,
- Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and with others,
- Ability to support the parish sacramental programs,
- Readiness to assist in the preparation of Baptisms, weddings & funerals,
- A willingness to work within the Mission and Vision of the Catholic Church.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Reception,
- Administration with various tasks,
- Bulletin/Newsletter,
- Prayers of intercession and associated folders for the Church,
- Coordination of Funerals, Baptisms, etc,
- Parish Hall bookings,
- Management of Trades people,
- Maintenance of parish register,
- General Office duties.
