The Geelong Regional Library Corporation (GRLC) is seeking a dynamic Branch Librarian to lead one of our vibrant community libraries. In this pivotal role, you will manage daily operations, support a passionate team, and activate the library space for community learning, connection, and inspiration.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver library services, programs, and events that meet the diverse needs of your community


• Supervise and support a small team, fostering capability and collaboration


• Manage collections, rosters, and the day-to-day running of the library


• Build strong local partnerships and conduct targeted outreach


• Ensure your library remains welcoming, inclusive, and forward-thinking

What you’ll bring:

• A degree or diploma in a relevant field, or experience managing library services


• Strong leadership and team development skills


• Excellent communication and community engagement abilities


• A passion for public libraries and a community-first approach


• Tech-savvy with experience in library systems and digital resources


• A current Victorian Driver’s Licence


• WWCC (Employee) & recent Police Check required

GRLC delivers inclusive, innovative and accessible library services across 5 local government areas. We operate 20 libraries, Victoria's largest regional archive and heritage centre, and a 25-stop mobile library service.

The successful candidate will also be required to provide the following:

•    a Police check (no older than 6 months)
