As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Administration/Receptionist to join our administration team.

 

Overview:

As a Medical Administration/Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional administrative support and customer service to patients, clinical staff, and visitors in a healthcare setting. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, phone management and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure
  • Schedule appointments and manage the multiple appointment calendar efficiently
  • Answer phone calls and emails, addressing patient inquiries and directing them to the appropriate department
  • Collect patient information, verify insurance details, and process payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely assistance
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organising documents

 

Essential:

  • Professional personal presentation and demeanor
  • Previous experience in a medical receptionist or customer service role preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and medical software (e.g. Zedmed)
  • Ability to swiftly adapt and learn new tasks with efficiency and professionalism
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor towards patients and colleagues
  • Capability to work autonomously

 

Office hours presently span from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Flexibility in availability to accommodate different days and hours is required.
