Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee end-to-end payroll operations while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and continuous process improvement across our processes. 

This is a part-time 12-month parental leave position (3 days per week, hours flexible).  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Deliver timely and accurate fortnightly payroll via Ready Workforce 

  • Prepare payroll journals and reports to relevant stakeholders 

  • Assist in month end and year processes as well as reconciliations 

  • Maintain payroll records in line with relevant legislation and compliance standards 

  • Provide general payroll support to senior management and the broader team. 

  • Contribute to financial audits, process improvement, and a positive team culture 

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience required 

  • Experience in payroll processing, particularly with Ready Workforce (preferred). 

  • Good understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including PAYG, superannuation, STP, ATO compliance, and award/EBA interpretation (HIGA experience highly advantageous). 

  • Advanced Excel skills essential. 

  • Strong communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and data integrity.
