Job Description - Payroll Officer

FleetPartners is an ASX-listed established leader in vehicle fleet leasing, fleet management and diversified financial services across Australia and New Zealand and offers consumers, businesses, and governments access to solutions including fleet leasing, fleet management services, novated leasing through its suite of brands. 

THE ROLE:

You will support FleetPartners payroll function (part-time, 4 days per week) by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for relevant FleetPartners entities across Australia and New Zealand, helping to maintain smooth payroll operations and employee satisfaction.

Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include (but not limited to):

  • Process fortnightly payroll, PAYG, superannuation, and other payroll tasks for Australia and New Zealand
  • Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare terminations, redundancies, and other payroll-related calculations as required.
  • Manage payroll tax and Workers’ Compensation reconciliations, lodgements, and processing.
  • Prepare payroll reports for Finance and People & Culture teams.
  • Respond to payroll enquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

ABOUT YOU:

You’re an experienced payroll professional with a solid understanding of end-to-end payroll processes across Australia and New Zealand. To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

  • Experienced in end-to-end payroll processing across BOTH Australia and New Zealand
  • Strong Excel skills, excellent communication skills and attention to details.
  • Familiar with taxation including FBT, PAYG and PAYE
  • iChris payroll system or Workday system knowledge is preferred
  • Understanding of modern awards and enterprise agreements.
