Payroll Officer - Competitive Pay - Part-Time

Our Recruitment division is a boutique recruitment agency specialising in the supply of Payroll staff, with a particular focus on payroll professionals who are experienced with our own software systems. The Access Group Recruitment are the go-to agency for our clients and payroll professionals looking for contract or permanent positions.
    
We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Officer to work as part of a small team.
Working 2 days per week - the initial training will be in Newcastle, then it would be 1 days WFH, 1 day in office.

On a day to day basis you would be:

• Processing of weekly payrolls
• Ensure accuracy through standard control measures.
• Liaise with all departments to ensure all timely information flow.
• Reconciliation of superannuation and payroll tax payments.
• Answer inbox enquiries

Skills and experience:

• Solid payroll experience
• Knowledge and application of Australian employment law, industrial relations and common law systems.
• Ability to operate efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Time management and prioritisation skills.

Salary: Up to $90k package FTE dependent on experience
