Payroll Officer | Part time | Immediate start!

The Company

Robert Half has partnered with a highly recognised healthcare provider in the Melbourne CBD for some hands on-assistance during a peak increase in volume.

This role is open to local or international payroll experience and will be able to offer no more than 2 days per week worth of work.

This role will suit a candidate with experience processing payroll time sheets, management of time sheets, understanding of complex and various awards and will be immediately available.

The Role

Reporting through to the Payroll team leader, duties in this role will include:

• Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time
• Maintain employee records and payroll data
• Monitor payroll tax thresholds and obligations
• Process superannuation contributions
• Manage leave accruals and entitlements
• Ensure compliance with awards and legislation
• Respond to payroll queries and resolve issues

Your Profile

• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and awards
• Familiar with payroll tax obligations and lodgements
• Proficient in Employment Hero and Excel
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder service skills
• Organised with strong time-management abilities
