Working in the Wholesale to Retail market, Oceana Intl. is one of the country's top suppliers of party, gift wares, costumes, candles and greeting cards.

Responsibilities

• Process Fortnightly payroll via Easy Clocking to MYOB for 30 local staff.
• Process monthly payments for Super and Payroll Taxes.
• Manage staff timesheets.
• Process leave requests including filing medical certificates.
• Assist staff with self service portal Citation HR.
• Advise FM for changes in legislation affecting pay rates/awards.
• Prepare reports for payroll, leave entitlements, super, taxes and associate insurances.
• Other tasks as directed by management.

Required skills and qualifications

• Previous experience in a payroll or similar associated office role.
• Strong skills in verbal and written communications.
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset.
• Ability to engage confidently with staff to achieve positive HR outcomes.
• Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities.
• MUST have excellent computer skills including word, excel, Office365 & Teams.
• Previous experience with payroll MYOB and Timesheets an advantage but not essential. 
• Full training is provided for company SOP.

About the role

• Part Time Flexibility - Three days a week. Tues & Wed is a MUST.
• Hours are approx. 32 per fortnight with flexibility.
• Work as part of the Accounts Team reporting to the Finance Manager.
• Wetherill Park head office location.
• Onsite Parking available.
• Close to shops, regular company gatherings.
• Amazing team to work with.
• Must have full rights to work in Australia.
• Car licence and must be able to work onsite.
