Practice Nurse - Part-Time

We are seeking skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (Division 1) to work in our Medical Centre in Point Cook. The position is permanent part time, Tuesday- Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-3pm.

About the role:

The candidate must be reliable, flexible and be able to work within a multidisciplinary team. 

Duties include but not limited to:

Triage

Immunisation management

Wound management

Diagnostic procedures e.g. ECG, Holter monitor, Spirometry

Vaccinations

Stock ordering and treatment room administration  

Recall and results management

Liaising with patients, doctors and receptionists

Provide patients with appropriate information and education

Care Plans and Health Assessments

Iron Infusion

Cold Chain Management

Experience with COVID-19 vaccinations

Willing to participate in practice risk management and quality improvement processes.  

Essential Criteria:

Must be registered with AHPRA

CPR certificate

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service 

Vaccinated against COVID-19 

Outstanding work ethic, organization and time management skills.
