Role Description/Criteria

The Receptionist will provide high-quality customer service in liaising with and assisting a variety of key internal and external stakeholders. They will exercise judgment, set priorities and support the multi-disciplinary team to achieve College goals as set out in the strategic plan and willingly assist with a range of administrative tasks as directed.

The Receptionist will play an integral role in the pastoral care of students by tending to the first aid needs of ill or injured students and staff in the College Nurse’s absence.

The Receptionist should exhibit a personal commitment to the mission and vision of St Bernard’s College and work within the confines of the Commonwealth Privacy Legislation.

About You:

• Strong administrative, time management and organisational abilities, including the ability to succeed in a busy and fast-paced environment.
• High-level computing skills, including the ability to utilise Outlook, Office 365, MS Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint
• Prior experience in the education and/or not for profit sector is desirable but not necessary.
