ABOUT THE ROLE

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and passionate Referrer Relationship Specialist to join our team based in Toowoomba, reporting to the Queensland Business Relationships Manager.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Consulting with key stakeholders to enhance awareness of Darling Downs Radiology Imaging services across the region.
• Growing our referral base and engaging with local healthcare providers, including specialists, GPs, and allied health professionals.
• Developing and nurturing relationships through educational events and participation in local marketing activities.
• Assisting in the implementation of marketing strategies within your territory.
• Maintaining, managing, and analysing the database of referrers.
• Conducting regular competitor analysis to identify market trends, service gaps, and opportunities for growth
• Identifying points of difference and competitive advantages that can be effectively promoted to referrers
• Working collaboratively as part of the Referrer Relationship Specialist team and with the South Coast Radiology marketing team to align regional initiatives and strategies.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven networking aptitude to facilitate business growth and relay information on available services
• Flexibility to work varied hours to attend out of hour’s clinical information evenings and network opportunities
• Engaging professional style to build rapport with referrers, practice managers and support staff with the ability to deliver exceptional service
• Ability to work independently, resourcefully and be self-motivated
• Excellent organisational skills to plan, promote and execute promotional lunches, information evenings and any other events as required
• Be technically minded ensuring referrers are well supported. An understanding of medical terminology is preferred but not essential. CRM experience maintaining a referrer database and experience with RIS/PACS or Radiology reporting programs is an advantage.
• Current Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle as this role is field based
• Sales or marketing experience, or a background in radiology is preferred.

This is a permanent part time position working 24 hours per week – with flexibility to work 4 days per week 8.30am to 2.30pm or over 3 days – 8.30am to 5.00pm.  Days and hours can be flexible.
