Job Description - Registered Nurse 3A, Queensland Health

About the role

Permanent full time and part time opportunity to provide contemporary evidence based consumer/patient focused care, in collaboration with the interprofessional health care team to facilitate optimal health outcomes for the recipients of healthcare services and undertake delegated activities while assuming individual accountability for actions within the position and context of practice.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Demonstrate commitment to continuous quality improvement and best practice principles to optimise consumer/patient centred care and organisational outcomes.

Respond appropriately to sudden alterations in the health status of the consumer/patient using comprehensive nursing assessment and intervention skills.

Apply clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.

Participate in performance and development planning activities.

Undertake, and participate in ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
