Job Description

Epworth Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse  with acute or rehabilitation experience, to work 30.4 hours per week, on a fixed-term basis until 30/6/26.

This is a rewarding fixed-term opportunity to work in a team motivated to assist patients in returning to their daily lives.

You will make an impact by:

  • Being a key part of a team committed to delivering an exceptional patient, family and staff experience while achieving high-quality clinical outcomes
  • Assisting patients to access supported services to maximise their physical gains and return to a rewarding lifestyle
  • Working with multidisciplinary and specialised teams to plan the care and treatment for patients through regular case conferences
  • Maintaining and promoting patient safety within our satellite unit through early intervention and escalation of care

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role:

  • Current nursing registration with AHPRA
  • Contemporary knowledge of best practice in acute, aged or rehabilitation nursing
  • Experienced registered or enrolled nurse who is passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes, either from a rehab or acute setting.
  • Strong collaborator with team members to support the delivery of rehabilitation care
  • Confident communicator, you have a supportive, engaging and compassionate style that enables you to easily build rapport with staff, patients and their families
