Your role at St John of God Geelong Hospital
We are seeking experienced Cardiothoracic Scrub/Scout Nurses who are enthusiastic and motivated to join our Cardiothoracic Scrub Scout Team on a casual basis.
Join a dynamic, collaborative, and supportive perioperative team within a state-of-the-art facility featuring 10 operating theatres and 2 catheter laboratories. In this role, you will deliver high-quality nursing care across the perioperative journey, proactively assess and respond to evolving clinical needs, and contribute to a strong culture of safety and excellence in patient care.
For nurses with cardiothoracic experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of an innovative cardiothoracic team alongside leading cardiac surgeons, contributing to advanced and progressive cardiac care.
You will hold registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and you will have Surgical Scrub Scout experience and show knowledge specific to the specialty.
To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development

We can offer you
Hourly rate: $51.70 to $65.25 (includes casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
