Job Description: 

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our team 4 days per week on a permanent part-time basis. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality primary healthcare services to individuals in our community. 

Responsibilities: 

• Administering vaccinations, medications, and treatments as prescribed by the general practitioners. 
• Performing routine procedures such as wound care, blood pressure monitoring, and health screenings. 
• Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing individualised care plans. 
• Educating patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-management strategies. 
• Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery. 
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with regulatory standards. 
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. 
• Demonstrating our core values of Community, Compassion, Excellence, and Teamwork in all interactions. 

Requirements: 

• Valid Registered Nurse registration. 
• Previous experience in a primary care or community healthcare setting is preferred. 
• Strong clinical skills and proficiency in nursing procedures. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. 
• Current CPR certification and knowledge of basic life support techniques.
