Registered Practice Nurse - Urgent Position - Part-Time

About us

First Point Healthcare is a General Practice with 2 part time GP's, nursing and admin staff who together, provide excellent medical care. We provide a holistic approach to healthcare in all aspects of general practice, from health check-ups to chronic disease management. This practice provides a nursing position that is less stressful, has less responsibility in more sociable hours, than traditional hospital nursing positions.

Qualifications & experience

• Registered Nurse 
• Available for at least 16hrs/week and shifts between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
• Available to cover sick and annual leave from time to time
• Demonstrate outstanding work ethic, organisational and time management skills

Tasks & responsibilities

• Experience in General Practice Nursing preferred but not essential
• Developing Health Assessment and CDM plans
• Experience with MD and Pracsoft software highly regarded
• Chronic Disease Management
• Wound care management, Immunisations and assisting in procedures
